Woodstorks

My Uncle Craig was talking about how rare and uncommon the woodstorks are becoming a few weeks ago, the next day I ride to a nearby park and spot an entire flock sitting on the groung behind some trees.

Cardinals

Though they are grainy we can excuse that for the cardinal's brightness makes it triumphant against the dark evergreen. I spotted this guy on a walk after hearing his loud high-pitched chirps so I aimed the camera and got my photos.

Red-shouldered Hawks

Anhingas

The Anhingas are a fairly common bird in Central Florida wetlands. They can sometimes sit for over an hour with outstretched wings to dry off. The main characteristic of this bird is their long snaky neck which gave it the name "Snake Bird"

Great Blue Heron

This elegant creature allowed me to creep toward it and capture its fully outstreched neck.

Hairy Woodpecker
